At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Khanjari, while commemorating October 20 (1st of Aban) as World Statistics Day, read the message from the President of the Statistical Society of Iran and emphasized the importance of statistics as “the language of rational decision-making.” The ceremony also honored the memory of the late faculty members, Dr. Bozorgnia and Dr. Niroumand.
